Wording for wedding thank you notes for gift cards? - thank you card wording for wedding attendants

We have received several gift certificates for a wedding. I wonder about the best way to word a thank you note. Any ideas appreciated.

I think I said something like: "Thank you for the card very generous donation of _____. In any case, will be put to good use!
